random (vedic) astro observations cause im bored
1. ashleshas love braiding & twisting their hair (brided/twisted hair resembles the body of a serpent and braiding one’s hair is associated with storing and protecting one’s energy, which is a major theme with ashlesha (protecting one’s family, privacy, wealth, life force, etc.) — ex. young thug.)
2. i can easily spot aries lagna through their alien head shape (big forehead & broad temples with a narrow chin.)
3. sun in rohini can make a woman known for her beautiful voice and/or feminine appeal (softness, sensitivity, motherly nature.)
4. the 7th aspect of saturn is where most of your effort and hard work is directed.
5. aries is the celestial horse, that is why they look and walk like that. most likely to have horse-like physique, physiognomy & hair.
6. rahu in the 1st gives serpent-like beauty and charm. their eyes have the power to hypnotize people.
7. sun conj. ketu (if positively placed and aspected) can make someone free of ego. most likely to have a jesus christ type of mentality. very naturally seductive. great dancers, especially if the sun rules the 3rd or 5th house. early awakening of kuṇḍalinī can be seen here.
8. saturn in the 1st house is one placement i’ve repeatedly seen in the charts of narcissists. charismatic, controlling, cruel, and really good at weakening people’s self-esteem. they can quite literally steal people’s life force (sun).
9. sidereal gemini is the sign of soul union. geminis, in this reincarnation, are meant to meet and be with their soulmates. this is especially seen in punarvasu, the star of return/reunion.
10. the house 2nd from venus can accurately indicate the type of partners you attract. 6th house: doctors, surgeons, politicians, lawyers, healers, etc. 8th house: bankers, journalists, astrologers, psychologists, etc. 12th house: creatives, activists, authors, musicians, animal lovers, etc.
11. swatis have a special affinity with spiders. (spiders = saturn. swati is the exaltation of saturn.)
12. atmakaraka falling in the 8th house of navamsa indicates that the soul reincarnated to serve, heal, and help; because the 1st house (purpose) is the 6th from the 8th. and if there’s a planet in the 1st, the person/people represented by it are the ones who the soul seeks to serve and heal.
“ that’s it for today! namaste xx

Astrology Observations
🎀I find people with Venus in Cancer or Moon-Venus aspects their love life and marriage are totally dependent on their family's approval. If their family likes the partner then it's all well and good if not there can be a great struggle between one's family and one's partner.
🎀Venus in Virgo with Rahu or Ketu may have extreme relationship issues.
🎀I think Saturn in 7th is difficult because the 7th house is about sharing and adjusting, and Saturn cannot do both these.
🎀For Sagittarius rising, Rahu in 5th can pose real challenges in having children especially for woman. The woman may have to go through artificial methods to beget children.
🎀Rahu or Ketu transiting the 2nd from Lagna or Moon sign can give dental problems, teeth issues, gum problems and facial scars.
🎀For Libra Lagna, Saturn in 11th house can deny children as Saturn is in a barren sign of Leo and also would aspect 5th house.
🎀I see people with Mars-Venus in 2/12 positions don't have much interest in relationships. Venus needs a little aspect from Mars to make one passionate.
🎀Virgo Mercuries are very good in diet and nutrition. They just break down every food ingredient to it's most basic property.
🎀Ketu transiting natal Moon or Mercury can be disturbing time emotionally and mentally. You may have sleepless nights.
🎀If you have Sun in 8th in solar return, you can be prepared for a physically and emotionally draining year no matter how good the other placements are. I have had 3 so far and all of them were the most difficult years. It's not often you have this because this is a cycle.
🎀People with Moon in 5th may witness their own mothers getting pregnant. This means their siblings were born quite a long time after them. May be 8 to 10/12 years younger.
I offer full natal chart readings. DM

Every relationship & marriage you'll ever have is predestined in your natal chart. Don't believe me?
Here are the 7 Upapada Lagnas that accurately describe each of Elizabeth Taylor's 7 marriages from her sidereal natal chart.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Elizabeth Taylor was technically married 8 times but she had 7 husbands. She married actor Richard Burton twice.
The Upapada Lagna is a Vedic astrology technique that reveals details about your future marriage. Your Upapada Lagna can tell you how you'll meet your spouse, what the quality of the marriage will be, whether or not you'll have children together and the longevity of the marriage. This technique is best used in the sidereal natal chart, also known as the D1 natal chart. You must use Whole Sign house system.
To find the first Upapada Lagna in Elizabeth Taylor's D1 natal chart, we locate how many houses away the 12th house lord is from the 12th house. Her 12th house is in Libra. Venus is in the 5th house, so the 12th house lord is 6 houses away. We then count 6 houses from the 12th house lord in the 5th house and end up in Leo in the 10th house.
In Vedic astrology lagna is another word for ascendant, therefore the Upapada Lagna is considered to be the "1st house" of the marriage. We can move the house the Upapada Lagna is in to the 1st house position by selecting it in the 1st House From option above the chart on Astro-Seek.com. The natal chart will then be turned and we'll be able to read this "new chart" to get information regarding her first marriage.
TW: Mention of DV and miscarriage.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
1st Upapada Lagna: Leo 10H
First husband: Conrad "Nicky" Hilton Jr. Wedding: May 6, 1950
Neptune is in the Upapada Lagna in Leo: Nicky was a violent alcoholic, which Elizabeth didn't discover until shortly after they got married. The way he portrayed himself beforehand was an illusion. Neptune = addiction & illusion.
Neptune is opposing Sun in the 7th house: The marriage was a disappointment that left Elizabeth feeling disillusioned.
Neptune is opposing Mars in the 7th house: Nicky was very insecure, which made him act aggressively to make up for it.
Malefic planets Sun and Mars are in the 7th house: Divorce indicator.
7th house lord is in the 6th house: Divorce indicator.
5th house lord is in the 12th house: Elizabeth suffered a miscarriage after Nicky kicked her in the stomach. 5th house = children. 12th house = loss.
The house next to the Upapada Lagna shows the longevity of the marriage.
Ketu is in the next house in Virgo: This is a divorce indicator. Ketu is considered to be a malefic planet because it represents detachment.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
2nd Upapada Lagna: Pisces 5H
Second husband: Michael Wilding Wedding: February 21, 1952
To find the next Upapada Lagna we count 8 houses away from the first Upapada Lagna and end up in Pisces in the 5th house.
Rahu is in the Upapada Lagna in Pisces: Rahu can represent a spouse from a foreign country. Michael was from England. Having Rahu in the Upapada Lagna is also an indicator of divorce.
Uranus is conjunct Venus in the Upapada Lagna in Pisces: This conjunction can indicate that there was something unusual about the marriage. Michael was 20 years older than her. She was 20 when they got married.
Ketu is in the 7th house: Divorce indicator.
4th house lord is in the 12th house: Divorce indicator.
Cancer is in the 5th house with Jupiter: Elizabeth gave birth to two sons. 5th house = children, Jupiter = male offspring.
5th house lord is in the 8th house: Elizabeth had a cesarean section for both of her pregnancies. 8th house = surgery.
1st house lord is in the 5th house: This marriage was destined to produce children.
The house next to the Upapada Lagna shows the longevity of the marriage.
2nd house lord is in the 12th house: Divorce indicator.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
3rd Upapada Lagna: Libra 12H
Third husband: Mike Todd Wedding: February 2, 1957
Moon is in the Upapada Lagna in Libra: This was a happy, loving marriage. Moon is the lord of the 10th house, which means they were both very loyal and dedicated to each other.
8th house lord, Venus, is in the 6th house conjunct Uranus: The 6th house is associated with the loss of marriage because it's 12 houses away from the 7th house. The 8th house is associated with sudden events and death. The 8th house lord is conjunct Uranus in the 6th house, which indicates that the marriage ended suddenly and unexpectedly. The marriage ended when Mike was killed in a plane crash.
Sun, Mars and Mercury are in the 5th house in Aquarius: Elizabeth gave birth to a daughter in this marriage. The 5th house lord is in Capricorn, which indicates that the child born from this marriage would be a girl. Sun and Mars in the 5th house represent Elizabeth's two sons from her previous marriage. The 9th house represents the third child and its lord Mercury is also in the 5th house, representing her daughter from this marriage.
The house next to the Upapada Lagna shows the longevity of the marriage.
2nd house lord is in the 5th house: Mars is the lord of the 2nd house and it's in the 5th house conjunct Mercury. Mars is the significator for accidents and Mercury is the significator for air travel = The marriage ended when Mike was killed in a plane crash.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
4th Upapada Lagna: Taurus 7H
Fourth husband: Eddie Fisher Wedding: May 12, 1959
Upapada Lagna lord, Venus, is in the 11th house conjunct Uranus: The 11th house is considered to be the 5th house from the 7th house and therefore can represent affairs. This marriage began as an affair after Elizabeth's third husband died. She and her third husband Mike Todd were friends with Eddie Fisher and his wife Debbie Reynolds (Carrie Fisher's parents, AKA Princess Leia). After Mike died, Eddie comforted Elizabeth and it resulted in them having an affair. Eddie quickly divorced Debbie and married Elizabeth.
Upapada Lagna lord, Venus, is in the 11th house squaring the 7th house co-lord Pluto in the 2nd house: Pluto represents sex, secrets, death and transformation. And the house next to the Upapada Lagna shows the longevity of the marriage, so to have Pluto in that house shows that this marriage began as an affair due to the death of Elizabeth's previous husband, but it also shows that this marriage ended because of an affair Elizabeth had later on with her next husband Richard Burton.
7th house co-lord Ketu is in the 5th house and its dispositor Mercury is in the 10th house: Elizabeth's affair with Eddie Fisher and later her affair with Richard Burton were both VERY public and much talked about.
Ketu is in Virgo in the 5th house: Ketu in the 5th house can indicate adoption and having Mercury or Saturn as the 5th house lord can also indicate adoption. Elizabeth began the process to adopt an orphaned girl from Germany while she was still married to Eddie. She completed the adoption process with her next husband Richard Burton.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
5th Upapada Lagna: Sagittarius 2H
Fifth husband: Richard Burton Wedding: March 15, 1964
Upapada Lagna is in Sagittarius: This can indicate a spouse from a foreign country. Richard was from Wales.
Saturn is in Capricorn in the house next to the Upapada Lagna: Saturn can make the couple stay together for a long time when it's in the house next to the Upapada Lagna, especially when it's in the sign it rules. This was Elizabeth's longest marriage. They were married for 10 years and then divorced in 1974 but remarried in 1975 and divorced for the final time in 1976. This Upapada Lagna represents both marriages because Elizabeth wasn't with anyone else in between.
This Upapada Lagna is in Elizabeth's natal 2nd house: This shows that her affair with Richard Burton was the cause for her last marriage with Eddie Fisher ending.
Pluto is in the 7th house in Gemini: This can indicate a powerful and intoxicating romance that is also prone to major transformative highs and lows. Elizabeth had a tumultuous yet passionate relationship with Richard. They had irresistible chemistry with each other. Richard was the second love of her life after Mike Todd who died in a plane crash.
4th house lord is in the 8th house: Divorce indicator.
6th house lord is in the 4th house: Divorce indicator.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
6th Upapada Lagna: Cancer 9H
Sixth husband: John Warner Wedding: December 4, 1976
Upapada Lagna lord is in the 4th house: This placement indicates there being a necessity to keep the identity and personality of the marriage and/or spouses private. John Warner was a senator for Virginia at the time and Elizabeth was told to "tone down" her personality and the way she presented herself for the sake of his political career. She was told to get rid of her yacht and Rolls-Royce and to change the way she dressed. She was specifically told to never wear her favorite color purple because it represented royalty and she wasn't supposed to outshine John.
Neptune is in the house next to the Upapada Lagna: Having to fill the role of a senator's supportive wife and hob-knob in Washington D.C. made her incredibly depressed and disillusioned. Elizabeth later said that being a senator's wife turned her into a "drunk and a junkie." Neptune = alcohol/drugs/addiction.
Saturn is in the 7th house in Capricorn: Elizabeth wanted someone to help her get over Richard Burton and she thought she wanted the "normal" life of a farmer's wife (John had a farm) but she soon realized that lifestyle was incredibly restrictive. The marriage felt very Saturnian.
6th house lord is in the Upapada Lagna: This marriage was mostly for the benefit of John's career because Elizabeth brought him a lot more attention and star power. He needed her help in his 1978 bid for Virginia's U.S. Senate seat. Voters clamored to meet her at political rallies.
8th house lord is in the 7th house: Divorce indicator.
2nd house lord is conjunct a malefic planet: Divorce indicator.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
7th Upapada Lagna: Aquarius 4H
Seventh husband: Larry Fortensky Wedding: October 6, 1991
Upapada Lagna is in natal 4th house: This was Elizabeth's last marriage, so it's fitting that the Upapada Lagna is in her natal 4th house because the 4th house represents "the end."
Neptune is in the 7th house: Larry was a construction worker that Elizabeth met in rehab. Neptune = addiction.
Malefic planets Sun and Mars are in the Upapada Lagna and are opposing Neptune in the 7th house: Having malefic planets in the Upapada Lagna can create obstacles in the marriage that lead to divorce. Sun and Mars are opposing Neptune in the 7th house = Elizabeth got a divorce because Larry started drinking again and her friends were unimpressed by him.
Saturn is in the 12th house: Elizabeth and Larry met at rehab. The theme of their marriage was trying to stay sober. Saturn = restriction, 12th house = addiction.
Rahu is in the house next to the Upapada Lagna: Divorce indicator.
Uranus conjunct Venus is in the house next to the Upapada Lagna: The differences between Elizabeth and Larry in age, career and life experiences were too vast and too many, which also led them to divorce.

D7 Chart: Your Children
Accuracy is influenced by the entire chart. This chart needs to be read alongside lagna for full accuracy.
D7 is not only about children. It is about what you create/birth - for ex: a business. However, this post will only focus on children.
SHORT OBSERVATIONS:
Mars in 8th can indicate the child has to undergo surgery at some point in their life.
Mars in 2nd can indicate having a miscarriage or a different type of difficult experience in regard to the child’s birth.
Venus placement and position is the most important for health of the children. A weak venus is an indicator for children having illnesses or disabilities.
Moon will show your ability to nurture your children -whether it is difficult, how hard it is for you to adapt, how the children see you, etc.
DETAILED OBSERVATIONS
Person A:
AQUA asc - ruler Saturn debilitated in Aries. Children are fairly tall and extremely thin. This is due to illnesses (the boy has trouble with his kidneys, the girl has diagnosed anorexia). Although, they are both doing well in recovery, they have struggled a lot with their health.
Their health struggles can be predicted through the debilitation of first house ruler and Venus in 6th House (as 6th house deals with diseases & venus deals with overall health of child in d7). In this d7 Venus in cancer 6th H receives harsh aspect from Sun & Saturn (2 malefic planets).
First child’s personality & how you see them is influenced by 5th House in d7.
Gemini 5th H in d7 shows this person’s first child has a best friend type relationship with their mother. The first child has a gemini sun conjunct mercury in their natal.
Her first child truly represents gemini traits - popular, extroverted but very anxious.
Second child’s personality & how you see them is influenced by 5th House in d7.
This person has Leo 7th H with mercury. Their second child is a leo rising and aries sun conjunct mercury.
Predicting Gender:
The first child is a girl. The second is a boy. This person has 5th and 7th in masculine signs with even the rulers being in masculine signs. This would indicate she’d have many boys. However, in her NATAL chart, her 5th H ruler (saturn) is in Taurus - a feminine sign.
How children feel about you can be seen through Sun (father) and Moon (mother).
This person has Sun in 12th of d7. Sun is harshly aspected by Venus and Saturn. The children have a distant relationship with their father.
This person has Moon in 11th of d7. Moon is positively aspected by Saturn. The children are very close to their mother. As adults, they have developed a friendship type of relationship. The mother has helped them with advice for their careers too.
PERSON B:
Their natal 5th House ruler is Saturn. In d7, Saturn is in the 6th house. This person struggled to have this child. They dealt with many traumatic miscarriages.
First House and First House ruler of D7 can confirm or deny whether the person will have a child. This person has D7 first house ruler conjunct venus a benfic. This assures that although there would be difficulty a child would be conceived.
D7 first house ruler conjunct venus is one indicator the child will be healthy. Despite her own health issues her son was born healthy.
Her d7 5th H is Aries, Mars (the ruler) is in Capricorn conjunct Moon. Her child is a cancer sun boy. Not much can be said about his personality as he is still very young.
Person C:
Her d7 first house is Taurus. Venus (the ruler) is placed in first house conjunct Moon. Here moon is exalted AND aspected by a benefic. Although all birth is painful, she considered herself fairly lucky. Her children are model pretty and healthy.
d7 5th house has mercury in virgo. Virgo is a feminine sign. Her first son would be considered a gently and feminine personality for a boy. As a kid, he enjoyed playing with toys and clothes that are often marketed toward girls.
d7 7th house has sun conjunct ketu in scorpio. This house shows the second child. He is a boy. The second son is a scorpio rising.
d7 9th house is in leo. This house shows the third child. Another boy. This kid is the embodiment of leo. He currently has aspirations of being an actor when he grows up. He is also a leo sun.
Moon conjunct Venus in Taurus: The children see their mother in a very good light. They see her as the “best mom ever”. Although everyone has the occasional annoyance with their parents. This relationship is very strong.
Sun conjunct Ketu in Scorpio: The children see their father in a good light too. They see him as being more authoritative. The father is usually the one disciplining and punishing the children. Sometimes, they see him as controlling. However, they have a lot of respect and are deeply connected to him too.

Identify and deal with ennemies, opponents and nemesis - Vedic Astrology
Credit @moonastrogirl
This is my 1st post of 2024, I hope you will enjoy it 😁 Happy New Year and may 2024 bring you blessings and joy 💫💖
First of all check out your 6th and 12th house for your regular enemies and hidden enemies. If you have Sun/Mars/Rahu/Ketu in there you will win easily against them and can even turn an enemy into a friend if you wish for it. “An old enemy becoming your friend will be more loyal than a friend”.
If there is no placements in 6th or 12th house, it’s best to learn how to fight physically so that the body gets strength and the mind knows it can defend itself. 6th house is the house of health so strengthen your body. Get healthier and get stronger. 12th house represent hidden enemies and what they do best ? Psychic, emotional and mental attacks. Strength your spirit, your spiritual side and learn about your psychic abilities and no hidden enemies shall do no harm to you. Also check out your D9 chart cause these houses might be activated there with placements and so you may already have the backbone energy in you to start.
Let’s keep going with your 7th house : those are the people who either can be your ally or your direct enemy depending on their intentions and how well you have mastered your 7th house energy. Those who have 7th house placements have integrated this energy inside their personality so they can deal with it easier.
Usually when someone doesn’t have any placements in their 7th house they don’t embody traits of the sign present there so most of the people they will meet with their 7th house sign or traits will try to one up on them. If placements are present here then the energy will be known and then can be managed easily. If you don’t have any placements in your 7th house, learn about the sign present there and adapt to its strengths and learn its weaknesses. By knowing your conscious (1st house) and unconscious (7th house) patterns you will manage direct enemies easily. Know yourself and you will stand your ground when confronted directly. Also check out your D9 chart cause your 7th house might be activated there with placements and so you may already have the backbone energy in you to start.
Now let’s dive in a little bit with your 8th house : it’s usually your blind sides, your darkness, what you don’t want to admit about yourself or are not enough self-conscious to bring into the light. Share a light on your dark side, embrace it. The best way to do it is through healing. Heal yourself and your shadows will become your friends. Heal yourself and your fears will become your allies. Heal yourself so that no one ever shall use what you’ve been through against you.
If you have placements in 8th house in your lagna chart or chandra chart then you already have this energy in you. If not, try your best and the results will come. Also check out your D9 chart cause your 8th house might be activated there with placements and so you may already have the backbone energy in you to start.
And finally comes the Avayogi. What is your Avayogi planet ? Avayogi nakshatra ? Avayogi point ? Avayogi is the planet or nakshatra or point in your chart that will bring in the most obstacles in your life. Have you ever wandered why some people with always the same placements tend to create issues in your life ?
For instance even if someone try their best to get along with Geminis (this is just an example) but Geminis always end up creating issues for them and putting them in bad situations ? Then maybe their Avayogi Nakshatra is in Gemini so people who have placements in Gemini bring in the most challenges in their life.
Best way to deal with people who have placements aspecting your Avayogi planet/point/nakshatra ? Learn from them, analyse them but don’t let them get too close to you to avoid further damage. If you have your Rahu or Ketu in your Avayogi nakshatra then you can win against them easily but please learn which battles are necessary and those who are not. Avayogi effect is for life. Do not waist your energy. Choose your battles wisely. Cause do you want to win one battle or win the war Avayogi is setting you up for ? I rather win the war and play the long game. Be careful during transits over your Avayogi planet especially if Saturn/Rahu/Ketu/Mars are transitioning over it or over Avayogi point or Avayogi nakshatra.
-> Focus on your Yogi planet/point/nakshatra and your duplicate yogi, those two bring in success and abundance in your life. By surrounding yourself with people who have aspects to them or placements in your yogi or duplicate yogi nakshatra, you will flourish 🌻
Thank you for reading me and if you resonate with this post, feel free to like, comment or reblog it 💜

Planetary aspects in Vedic Astrology
In Vedic astrology (Jyotish), there is a term called "Drishti", or planetary aspects, which are important in determining how planets influence different houses and each other within a birth chart.
Drishti means "sight" or "gaze" (sans.)
Drishti represents the way a planet radiates its influence on certain parts of the horoscope. The effect can be benefic (positive) or malefic (negative), depending on the nature and placement of the planet casting the aspect.
Types of Drishti:
Full (primary) aspects:
All planets make an aspect on the 7th house from their position in a natal chart
Special Aspects (Bhava Drishti):
Some planets have additional special aspects that extend beyond solely the 7th house.
Planetary Aspects:
Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus + Rahu (lunar node)
Note: Ketu being a "tail of a demon" doesn't make any aspects.
7th House Aspect: These planets (and nodes) only aspect the house directly opposite them (7th house from their position)
Mars in addition to the 7th house (full aspect), aspects:
The 4th house from its position
The 8th house from its position
Jupiter in addition to the 7th house (full aspect), aspects:
The 5th house from its position
The 9th house from its position
Saturn in addition to the 7th house (full aspect), aspects:
The 3rd house from its position
The 10th house from its position
Note: some Jyotish schools and traditions (e.g., Southern tradition) accept additional aspects of Rahu to:
The 5th house from its position
The 9th house from its position
Effects of Aspects:
Benefic Planets: Benefic planets like Jupiter and Venus usually have positive influences on the houses they aspect, promoting growth, harmony, and fortune. Note: benefic planets making an aspect on a malefic planet can mitigate full negative effects coming from a malefic planet in a birth chart.
Malefic Planets: Malefic planets like Mars and Saturn + lunar nodes typically exert challenging influences, indicating obstacles, discipline, detachments, obsessions and generally transformative experiences.
Additional Considerations:
Functional Nature: Depending on the ascendant, planets may act as functional benefics or malefics. This affects how their aspects are interpreted.
Aspects in Divisional Charts: Aspects in divisional charts (Vargas) like Navamsa (D9), Dasamsa (D10) or any other varga offer deeper insights into specific life areas.
Conjunctions: When planets are in the same house, they conjoin, and their combined energy influences the house and its signification.
Examples of Aspects:
Mars in the 1st House:
4th House Aspect: Mars impacts home life, relationship with a homeland, mother, sense of inner happiness and satisfaction. Mars impacts real estate and maternal relationships.
7th House Aspect: Mars affects partnerships, marriage, public and business interactions.
8th House Aspect: Mars influences transformations, occult matters, and joint finances.
Jupiter in the 5th House:
9th House Aspect: Jupiter promotes and fosters higher learning, spirituality, fortune and long-distance travels.
11th House Aspect: Jupiter enhances social circles, friendships, and gains from large networks.
1st House Aspect: Jupiter positively influences personality, health, and overall life.
Impact on Houses:
Aspect on the 1st House (Lagna): Influences self-image, health, and overall personality.
Aspect on the 4th House: Affects home environment, mother, and domestic comfort.
Aspect on the 7th House: Impacts marriage, partnerships, and public life.
Aspect on the 10th House: Influences career, social status, and public reputation.

Know Yourself. How to?
Know yourself. How many times have you heard this? You might even have been told to do so. It is true that it's important. When you buy the latest gear, you are happy to find the instruction leaflet. But as for us, we were not born with an instruction manual. We are on our own to find out how we work. You may wonder why some people naturally find their way in life, thus successfully thriving, while some others don't. You might be likely to belong to that last category of people. And it's great. Because while you are searching about who you are, you end up learning a lot about the others. There are many ways to know how you function. To be honest, there is no universal solution. Because we are all made up differently, we don't process the information the same way. In other words, a technique will suit us better than someone else. For example, some will swear only by the MBTI Types, which is a pretty good model, but you might not be satisfied. So, you have no choice but do research on your own, test the methods you find and you will come across this ultimate technique. This ultimate technique will illuminate your life more or less drastically, according to the period or emotional phase you are going through right now... Because let's not forget... The human psyche changes over time. As for me, the ultimate technique had been astrology (as well as numerology) or to be more precise, Jyotish or Vedic Astrology which is the Indian version of astrology. So now, let's get practical: what are the indicators to find yourself in a chart? *Disclaimer: use the sidereal astrology (Lahiri) and the whole sign system. You can find it on astro.com. I would recommend the free website drikpanchang in Jyotish, Kundali tabs to get your Indian chart. I. In your D1/birthchart, you have to look at the positions in signs, nakshatras, houses of and how they are aspected: Your ascendant or lagna The Lord of your ascendant or Lagna Lord (LL) The Moon The Sun The Atma Karaka or AK, the significator of your soul The Arudha Lagna or AL too because it represents the way people see you which will shape the way you see yourself. II. Then, you look at the heart of these indicators which are found in D9 or Navamsha. This is the inner you that will gradually show itself or maybe, it had already shown itself. III. Last but not least, look at your current Maha Dasha or MD. It corresponds to your current period of life. This planet doesn't only influence your material life, it also has a deep emotional and psychological impact. For example, a Saturn (or Shani) MD is not like a Moon (Chandra) MD. A Shani MD person will be into dealing with harsh reality continuously, they will work more but they will take the hit better. A Moon MD person will have more desires, will be more sensitive, more moody. If your MD planet is the Lord of the 1st house, than you'll be much more likely to find who you are. The same goes with the 8th house Lord, which is about transformation; to some extent the 2nd house Lord because it's about self-worth but not so much regarding the 6th house Lord for example, which is all about health, routine, enemies, unless this Lord is your AK! IV. Extra tips: you can even have a look at your D30 chart to know your psychological issues and flaws. Beware of Rahu and Ketu because they can falsify the way you see yourself. Who knows? It's up to you to find. Nobody can tell you who you are. People can give you a couple of clues that you have to analyze using your experiences in the past and so on. I hope this post will help you out, at least, help you clarifying on how to proceed. I will publish the usual meanings of astrological positions soon. Until then, take care.

Vedic Astrology 101 p2
Basic explanation of the houses, rulership and signification and how to read the chart (or interpret it on a basic level).
Tumblr media
Introduction:
after explaining a little of the signs and the planets now i will attempt to introduce the houses, the rulerships and their respective significators.
i will bring the nakshatras in the next part.
click here for part one, if you wish to read it :).
The chart:
Tumblr media
The Vedic / sideral chart has a different form of layout and from now on we will have two "designs", one is the northern form (the left side) and the southern form (the right side)
Tumblr media
The Northern format uses triangles, the kendras (1,4,7,10) are in the middle. the difference is that the houses are fixed but not the sign
and on the southern side, the chart houses are not fixed but the signs are fixed. (picture below).
Tumblr media
there is no "right" chart format to choose from, you can use which one is easier for you to understand, I myself use the northern chart and I will be using them for further explanations if I find them necessary but on a solid basic level, those are the charts formats.
and you can see the chart, as a circle if you wish, by using other websites like astro or astroseek which showcase the charts using a circle format independent of the system you choose to use.
Tumblr media
The houses
classifications:
The Kendras (or Quadrants): Houses I, 4, 7 and I 0. These are highly significant houses. The Panapharas (or Successant Houses): Houses 2, 5, 8 and II. The Apoklimas (or Cadent Houses): Houses 3, 6, 9 and 12. The Trikonas (or Trines): Houses I, 5 and 9. These are highly auspicious and, along with the Kendras, determine the health, wealth, status, dignity, rise and virtue of a native. The lagna, being both a kendra and a trikona, is the most significant of all houses. The Upachayas: Houses 3, 6, 10 and II. These houses indicate struggle, competition and material achievement. The Trika Houses: Houses 6, 8 and 12. These are considered bad houses (Duhsthanas). They indicate debt, disease, loss and misery. The Ayu-sthanas (or houses of longevity) : Houses 8 and 3 (8th from the 8th). They indicate the length of life and, therefore, also the death. The Maraka-sthanas (or killer houses): Houses 2 and 7. The two halves of a horoscope: (a) Houses I to 7 indicate the invisible half and houses 7 to I indicate the visible half of the horoscope. (b) Houses 10 to 4 indicate the eastern half and houses 4 to 10 indicate the western half of the horoscope.

Winston Churchill's Birth Chart:
1) He is Virgo Ascendant. Many other leaders of war were also born on this Ascendant.
2) He has Saturn in the 3rd & Rahu in the 8th house from AruDha Lagna which gives victory in war.
3) Saturn in the 6th house from Moon also shows victory.
4) Amatyakaraka (Amk) is the Mars, which is in Ascendant. It is also lord of 8th house which is the house of war.
5) Atmakaraka Mercury is in the Vishakha nakshatra which is good for war because it's lorded by Indra & Agni both.
6) Saturn in the 3rd & Rahu in the 6th houses from Sun also show success in war.
7) Atmakaraka (Ak) and Ascendant lord both is the Mercury which conjuncts Ketu. Ketu is the planet which gives involvement in war.

Marriage Timing: Vedic Astrology Method
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There are 2 requirements that need to happen AT THE SAME TIME in order for marriage to be activated.
You must be running the Mahadasha (main period) or the Anatardasha (sub-period) of one of the following:
7th house lord in sidereal natal chart
7th house lord in D9 Navamsa chart
Planet in the 7th house sidereal natal chart
Planet in the 7th house D9 Navamsa chart
Lord of Upapada Lagna
Darakaraka Planet
AND
Jupiter and Saturn BOTH must be transiting or aspecting one of the following at the same time in your sidereal natal chart:
7th house
1st house
7th house lord
1st house lord
The transits/aspects of Jupiter and Saturn can take place in either the:
Lagna chart (your normal sidereal natal chart where the ascendant is in the 1st house)
Moon chart (you turn the chart to move the house that has the Moon in it to the 1st house position)
REAL LIFE EXAMPLE:
When I got married for the first time, I was in my Jupiter Mahadasha and Saturn Antardasha.
Saturn is my 7th house lord in my Lagna chart
Jupiter is my 7th house lord in my Moon chart
Jupiter is also in the 7th house in my D9 Navamsa chart
In my normal sidereal natal chart Jupiter was transiting the 8th house and Saturn was transiting the 2nd house.
BUT my Moon is in the 2nd house, therefore in my Moon chart where you move the Moon to the 1st house position, Saturn was actually transiting the 1st house and Jupiter was transiting the 7th house.
